What Is a Beam Bolster?

Heavy-duty beam pads are designed to support extreme weight loads from lower slab steel in slab form. Corrugations spaced 1" on centre are used as guides for the spacers, with legs spaced 2 1/2" on centre. The plastic arch design maximises the strength between the legs. Support crossbars are made of high strength plastic coated steel and can be bent to any shape. Non-corrosive and lightweight for easy handling.

A bearing beam for construction has a pair of spaced-apart frame members and a plurality of cross members extending in the spaced relationship between the spaced-apart frame members. The spaced-apart frame members have a substantially rectangular configuration and a plurality of openings formed there through. The pair of spaced frame members and the plurality of cross members are integrally formed together from a polymeric material. The openings in the pair of spaced frame members have a substantially rectangular shape.

Beam Bolster Upper-Plain

Beam Bolster

The beam bolster is used to support reinforcement at the appropriate height in the soffit of a beam form. The legs are spaced 2-1/2" on the centre and are spot welded to resist bending. When the runner is spot welded to the leg along its full length, it becomes the beam bolster upper, which provides support for the level of the upper reinforcement.

Metal beam bolster upper-plain is used to support layers of mesh or rebar and maintain the proper spacing between mats and forms. Cover heights range from 1” to 3” heights in 5-ft. lengths. Manufactured in basic wire, or epoxy-coated.

Beam Bolster metal bar supports are used in commercial concrete projects to support reinforcement in elevated concrete bridge decks, footings, metal bridge decks, bridge deck slabs, pier caps and other applications. The Beam Bolster is ideal for heavier rebar loads in congested areas where rebar support does not normally deflect.

The slab bolster is used to support the reinforcement and grid at the appropriate elevation in the concrete slab. The legs are spaced 5" apart in the centre and are spot welded to resist bending. It becomes Slab Bolster Upper when the runners are spot welded to the legs along their full length. this provides support for soft surfaces or upper reinforcement.

Continuous High Chair

Continuous high chairs are also used to support reinforcement and grids at appropriate elevations in concrete slabs. The legs are spaced 7-3/4" on the centre and are spot welded to resist bending. When the slide line is spot welded to the foot along its full length, it becomes a continuous high chair upper. This provides support for the soft surface or upper steel level.
